At Vuicon we have a passion for challenging projects. Though we are specialized in maritime engineering , we are active in industrial as well as building and construction projects. We are highly experienced in and have a broad knowledge of mechanical engineering, structural engineering, special offshore and dredging equipment, modification of vessels, mobilization and maritime operations. Shipbuilding
Whether it is a small or a large ship, a dredger, luxury yacht or an inland tanker
we master shipbuilding in the broadest sense. We are happy to assist you with a new construction, refit or repair. We like to participate in your project, from the concept phase to the implementation phase. We can respond quickly to an urgent job, or make up a team that develops and supervises a project for a longer period of time. In addition to project designs, we also take care of classification. Applying rules and regulations to obtain class approval is our daily business. We work with all major classification societies such as Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas and DNV-GL. Moreover, we carry out stability reports, general arrangements or safety plans.
We carry out construction work in our own workshop or supervise construction work on site.
Offshore
Offshore knows a multitude of projects with floating and non-floating equipment. In recent times we have been able to carry out many modifications and mobilizations. Whether it is a Semi-sub, crane vessel, pipelaying vessel or an ROV. The wind energy market is served by us with calculations and drawings. Making calculations, drawings and reports is in our DNA. This may involve the checking of structural integrity, design of offshore equipment, lifting plans or sea-fastening of equipment and cargo. In our workshop we produce all kinds of deck interfaces and equipment meeting the requirements for class approval.
Dredging
The dredging market holds no secrets for us. In addition to shipbuilding engineering, we have extensive experience with dredging equipment and systems. Whether it is a CSD, TSHD, stone dumping vessel or a spray pontoon, we speak the language and have gained know-how for many years. Our engineers have engineered many suction pipes, drag heads, A-frames, spud poles and turning glands. We can make your steel constructions , such as A-frames, inspection pieces or pipe pieces and brackets in our workshop. You name it, we do it.
Industry and Building & Construction
You can leave the calculation, drawing and construction of your steel structures to us. Our software, AutoCAD, Inventor and Femap are well known in this field. Thinking along with your project could save you time and money. We look at the structural optimization, pre-fabrication possibilities and site-logistics. Our portfolio contains many land based projects. Jobs such as drawing storage tanks, pipelines and the construction steel for buildings have been delivered successfully. If you wish we produce all beam assemblies and frames according schedule in our workshop.
